Hi, i recently decided to change my main system to Linux Manjaro and after downloading GD and playing it with proton i wanted to use the custom songs for the levels i was making at a time when i had Windows 10. So i just wanna know where is the default song folder destinations is.

So i found a cool remix to jumper i wanna add into geometry dash to replace the default song. But to do that, you need the song id. For the main level songs, no song id shows up. Does anyone have an idea on how to get song ids for main levels?

Why isn't here Geometrical dominator from waterflame and Deadlocked from f-777 . It would make me very happy if the songs Geometrical dominator and deadlocked would be in this Album. Those are the last two songs from Geometry dash

So first, you wanna search the name of the level, preferably by either the creator or the verifier of the level. Then, check the description of the video for (usually) either a MediaFire or Discord file link with the song. Then, just download the song and skip to step 2.

So now, you wanna open GD and search the name of the level with the NoNG. Then, you will need to rename the mp3 to the Newgrounds song ID (NOT THE LEVEL ID. If you downloaded the song from a discord or mediafire link from the videos description, most of the time you will not need to do this but I still recommend checking to see if the ID matches with the name of the mp3.)

2. Once you open the GeometryDash folder, you will see all of your songs you have downloaded in GD. Drag and drop the mp3 into the folder with your songs. If you have already downloaded the song that needs to be replaced, you will get a error stating that the folder already has a file with that same name. If so, just click the replace file button.

DJVI is a Finnish Composer known for his many songs that were used in Main Levels and Community Levels. He has primarily made Dance, House, Dubstep and Techno music, but also has gone into other genres like Drum n' Bass, Hardstyle, Trance, and Future Bass.

DJVI was born on July 2nd, 1992 in Finland. He was inspired to make music of his own by some techno music artists like Basshunter, Darude and Mangoo. He got his first DAW in 2009 to create short techno loops at first, but then he made his first full-length song later on. This song was shared to the public on his 30th birthday.

The first time DJVI was exposed to Newgrounds was on January 4th, 2010, with his first published song, All I Need (Original) being released on February 14th, 2010. DJVI would release 20 other songs within that year. However, none of these songs would really peak the interest of the Newgrounds community.

In 2011, DJVI would release a total of 16 songs, with one in particular being more important later on, named Base After Base. He also started his YouTube channel within this year, but wouldn't do much with it for the time being.

Within the year 2012, DJVI would release 15 more songs, with a few being more important later on, such as Can't Let Go, Dry Out, and xStep. He also made a remake of Active (a song from 2010) for the "World Ending" theory of 2012, named Active (2012 World End Edit).

The year 2013 was probably the most important year for DJVI during his career. He only released 7 different songs within this year, but other songs of his had recently blown up with the release of the game Geometry Dash. He would also upload his first video to YouTube about his song Back On Track. With the release of Version 1.2 of Geometry Dash, DJVI got his other song, Cycles, popular as well. When Version 1.3 released, DJVI's song xStep also garnered quite a lot of attention.

In 2014, DJVI released the least amount of songs he's ever had in his career, with only two of them being released on Newgrounds within that year. However, some of his songs were used in two games during 2014: Dash Till Puff! and World's Hardest Game: No Way. These brought minor attention to DJVI, but it did end up boosting his popularity in the long run.

In 2015, DJVI would start to run his own record label Sound Ward which has its own YouTube channel. He released no more than four songs, with one of them being a remake of Cycles, named Cycles (2015 Edition). Another game had also started using his music within this year, called Dub Dash.

In the year 2016, DJVI would release 8 songs, with one of them being more popular than the others, named Angels. The other songs within this year unfortunately didn't perform as good as Angels did, however.

In 2018, DJVI would release another 8 songs to Newgrounds. Some of these songs were remakes of older songs, such as Can't Let Go 2.0. He also started his own Discord Server during this period in time.

In 2019, DJVI would release 10 more songs being and some of those songs were remakes of older ones, just like the year prior. Some older songs of his are now available on Spotify. He also made an article on the website named Soundnoia, explaining how he markets his music. During this year, his music was featured in a mobile rhythm game called Muziqlo.

In 2020, DJVI would release 8 more songs, with some of them being remixes of older songs and games. Along with this, DJVI held a Decoration Contest for Geometry Dash, which WerewolfGD won once the results were announced.

In 2022, he released six songs, although only five of them are on Newgrounds. Within this year, he started to experiment with lore mixed into his songs starting with Multiverse. An example of this would be the Multiverse Saga, which lasted throughout the year. Every chapter is available on his official website starting from Multiverse to Twisting Reality.

DJVI has released a total of 117 songs on Newgrounds, consisting mostly of Techno, Dance, House and Dubstep music. Some also go into other genres. Aside from the songs on Newgrounds, there were also a few off of Newgrounds that were uploaded to DJVI's YouTube channel.

All I Need [Original] (Miscellaneous) is the first song DJVI ever uploaded to Newgrounds and was released on February 14th, 2010, receiving semi-positive feedback. It's a 3-minute and 34-second song and was the original version of a song he had made prior to this, named All I Need.

-Forever- (Trance) is a 3-minute and 1-second song released on February 28th, 2010 and received semi-positive feedback. It was met with some criticism, concerning the amount of mixing that was used in the song.

Extacy [Dance/Techno] (Techno) is a 2-minute and 10-second song released on March 4th, 2010 and received mildly positive feedback. This song was met with more criticism than the one prior to this.

Eternity [Techno] (Techno) is a 2-minute and 39-second song released on March 13th, 2010 and received semi-positive feedback. This was the first song DJVI took a while to finish and was met a little better than the previous ones.

Day N' Night [Techno] (Techno) is a 2-minute and 49-second song released on April 11th, 2010 and received semi-positive feedback. The name of the song is based off of how the beginning and the end of the song sound like the day and how the middle part sounds like the night.WIP

DJVI has a similar License as other composers like Waterflame. He works under a little less strict of a license, known as the Attribution Non-Commercial Share-Alike, or the CC BY-NC-SA. With this License, you are allowed to use, copy, remix and change DJVI's songs for Non-Commercial purposes, as long as there's proper credit given to the creator and the remade versions are published under the same license.

On 16 December 2015, Topala announced a spin-off game titled Geometry Dash Meltdown,[29] which was released on 19 December 2015 for iOS and Android.[30][31] It includes three levels featuring the songs of F-777. The game showcased new icons and features in levels added in version 2.0 of the original game.

I would like to tell you that 8bit Dance Party by Fantomenk is also one of my minor favorites - used in one of my levels that got featured. But it's not in the major Top 10 so...sorry about that. I'd always prefered songs which are futuristic and have chiptunes in it. (Fingerbang will have a place in my Top 10 soon because it has chiptunes and it is futuristic and it sounds like Clubstep in outer space and it holds the spider gamemode! Phew! got that? But I'm afraid it's a new official level song...) ff782bc1db
