Geo2Int

Workshop in Geometry and Geometric integration

Bergen - September 7-9, 2022

Post Conference Updates

Thank you again to all the participants of Geo2Int 2022! With the conference finished we have now uploaded recordings of the presentations, which you can find on the Program page.

The workshop

The objective of the workshop is to connect people working in differential geometry from a more theoretical perspective with people working with geometric integration and applications of geometry for numerical methods. We believe that this intersection of ideas will be fruitful for people working in both areas and can lead to new developments. Topics of the conference will be intersections of geometry and algebra, stochastic differential geometry, geometric statistics, geometric numerical integration and numerical solutions of SPDEs.

The workshop will be held in Bergen on September 7-9, 2022, and an online broadcast will be made available to registered participants.

This workshop is supported by the Trond Mohn Foundation through the project "Pure Mathematics in Norway", and by the local research projects CODYSMA and Geoproco.
