This privacy policy applies to the GenzPlayer - Video Player Pro app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by TechZenith JSC (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device
To provide the app’s core functionality, we may collect and process photos and videos from your device (including camera input when required by a feature). This data is used solely to enable essential functions such as media scanning, playback, gesture recognition, and content management. We only access data necessary for these purposes and handle it in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
## Data Collection and Use for File & Media Features
To provide core app functionality, we collect and process certain file and media-related information from your device storage. This may include media metadata such as file title, display name, duration, size, format/MIME type, folder path/name, date added/modified, and playback-related metadata.
We use this information to:
- discover and index local videos;
- organize and display your media library;
- support search, folders, playlists, and video management features;
- improve playback compatibility and performance.
### Why we request Manage External Storage (All Files Access)
On supported Android versions, we may request `MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (All Files Access) for full functionality. MediaStore-only access may not fully index all folders or video files, including:
- hidden or `.nomedia` directories;
- newly copied files not yet indexed by MediaStore;
- less common video containers/formats.
This permission is used to scan and surface local videos more reliably, instead of limiting detection to MediaStore-indexed content only.
## Analytics and Diagnostics
To analyze product usage, improve reliability, and debug issues, we may collect technical diagnostics and analytics data, such as:
- feature interaction events;
- app version and build information;
- device model and OS version;
- performance metrics;
- crash logs and error diagnostics.
Where possible, this data is aggregated or anonymized and is not intended to directly identify you.
## Data Sharing and Processing
We do not sell your personal media files. We do not upload your local video content for advertising purposes. Data may be processed by trusted service providers (for example, analytics, crash reporting, or ad services) under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
## User Controls
You can revoke storage-related permissions at any time in Android Settings. Revoking required permissions may limit or disable some app features.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
##In-App Purchases
When you use in-app purchases or subscriptions, payments are processed by the platform operator (for example, Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS). We do not collect or store your full payment card details; such information is handled solely by the platform and its payment processors in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
We may receive limited purchase-related information from the platform, such as transaction identifiers, product or subscription identifiers, purchase or renewal dates, subscription status, and whether a purchase was successfully completed. We use this information to deliver the purchased content or features, verify entitlements, restore purchases where supported, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and detect or prevent fraud or abuse.
By making an in-app purchase, you acknowledge that the platform may share the above categories of data with us as necessary to operate the feature, and that your use of payments is also subject to the platform’s terms and privacy policy.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to ciencute1998@gmail.com. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at ciencute1998@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (ciencute1998@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
