If you want a universal, abrasion-resistant mat that molds to complex trunk contours for daily hauling of heavy boxes and groceries, choose Generic Car Boot Liner; if you need a precise, model-specific floor protector tailored exclusively for the Mazda CX-30 cargo area, choose NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo.
• Generic Car Boot Liner: Its biggest strength is the durable, abrasion-resistant construction designed to handle scratches from luggage and heavy items while maintaining a neat appearance with fine stitching. Its trade-off is that it is a universal fit based on general trunk structure rather than a vehicle-specific mold. This pick is for owners who prioritize rugged protection and style across various loading scenarios.
• NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo: Its biggest strength is its exact compatibility with the 2019 and 2020 Mazda CX-30, offering a functional replacement layer that matches the equipment floor configuration perfectly. Its trade-off is strict exclusivity; it will not fit any other vehicle or model year outside that specific range. This pick is for Mazda CX-30 owners seeking a seamless, factory-matching carpet pad.
• The Verdict: Choose the Generic liner for versatile durability or the NGrtQAskY mat for a perfect OEM-style fit in your Mazda.
This product is built for the person who treats their trunk as a workhorse. If you frequently load up your vehicle with rough-edged suitcases, unboxing cardboard boxes, or moving groceries that might drag across the floor, this liner is designed to stop those scuffs before they damage your car's interior. It acts as a shield for the trunk floor, bumper, and sill, which are the areas most vulnerable to impact during daily use.
Beyond pure utility, there is a strong emphasis on aesthetics here. The product features fine stitching and clean edge lines, suggesting that the manufacturer cares about how the trunk looks when the lid is closed. Unlike a flimsy plastic sheet that wrinkles or slides around, this item is designed according to trunk structures to ensure a precise fit that matches the contours of your cargo area. This attention to design means it enhances the interior appearance while doing the dirty work of protecting the surface beneath it.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you own a vehicle that falls outside the standard configurations this "Type 2" unit covers, the "precise fit" claim relies on the general trunk structure rather than a custom mold for your specific make and model. It is an excellent choice for drivers who value a stylish, high-quality finish that resists wear and tear, but it may lack the absolute snap-fit precision of a part made solely for one specific chassis. You should skip this if you need a cover that clips into place with zero movement because it relies on contour matching rather than vehicle-specific engineering.

The NGrtQAskY mat exists for one reason and one reason only: to serve the Mazda CX-30 owner. The specifications are laser-focused on model compatibility, explicitly stating it fits the CX-30 and CX30 vehicle models from the 2019 and 2020 model years only. There is no ambiguity here. If your vehicle is a 2021 or earlier model, or if you drive anything other than a Mazda CX-30, this product is not intended for you. It is a functional replacement layer designed to match the equipment floor configuration exactly, ensuring it sits where it belongs without gaps or overhangs.
This product functions as a dedicated boot liner floor carpet protector pad. It is not just a generic sheet thrown into the back; it is designed specifically for placement on the boot liner floor of these listed car models. The dimensions provided (60 x 30 inches) indicate a substantial coverage area meant to replace or protect the existing floor setup. For the Mazda owner, this offers peace of mind knowing that the mat is not a compromise but a targeted solution intended to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle's existing layout. It provides a clean, uniform look that respects the original design intent of the car's interior.
The trade-off for this precision is a complete lack of versatility. You cannot take this mat and put it in a different car, nor can you use it for a different year of the same model if the floor plan changed. It is a single-purpose tool. This makes it ideal for the driver who wants a perfect, non-slip, factory-matching appearance and doesn't care about having a spare mat for a second vehicle or a friend's car. If you are looking for a universal solution that works across multiple cars, this is not the right choice. But if you have a 2019 or 2020 Mazda CX-30 and want a protector that feels like it came from the factory, this is the logical path.
• Best for Heavy-Duty Abrasion Resistance → Generic Car Boot Liner
The data emphasizes "durable, abrasion-resistant materials," making it superior for handling rough loads like tools, sports gear, or heavy boxes that might shred a thinner pad.
• Best for Exact Vehicle Fitment → NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo
Designed specifically for the 2019/2020 Mazda CX-30, this mat offers a level of integration and "equipment floor configuration" matching that a universal liner cannot replicate.
• Best for Aesthetic Refinement → Generic Car Boot Liner
With its focus on "fine stitching and clean edge lines," this option prioritizes the visual appeal of the trunk interior, giving it a neat, upgraded look regardless of the vehicle type.
• Best for Factory-Style Integration → NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo
If your goal is a "functional replacement layer" that blends invisibly with the stock floor, the model-specific nature of this product ensures it matches the car's geometry perfectly.
• Best for Versatility → Generic Car Boot Liner
Because it is designed to match general trunk contours rather than a single VIN-specific layout, it is more adaptable to different loading scenarios and potentially different vehicles within its size range.
• Best for Simple Installation → NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo
The "installation target" is clearly defined for the boot liner floor of the CX-30, implying a straightforward drop-in experience for owners of that specific model without needing to adjust for odd shapes.
• Best for Long-Term Durability Claims → Generic Car Boot Liner
The explicit mention of protecting against scratches and damage from "luggage, groceries, or heavy boxes" suggests a robust build intended for high-frequency, high-wear environments.
• Best for Model-Specific Protection Scope → NGrtQAskY Rear Trunk Cargo
The protection scope is strictly limited to the specified vehicle trunk area, ensuring no wasted material and maximum coverage where the carpet is most vulnerable in that specific car.
I would buy the Generic Car Boot Liner for my personal vehicle. While the NGrtQAskY option offers a fantastic, precise fit for the Mazda CX-30, I prefer the robust, abrasion-resistant construction of the Generic liner. The ability to handle heavy boxes and luggage without worrying about tears or wear is worth more to me than a model-specific cut. Plus, the fine stitching adds a touch of class that elevates the whole trunk space. However, if you drive a 2019 or 2020 Mazda CX-30, I strongly recommend checking the NGrtQAskY option first, as its exact fit for motorcycles and daily cargo might be the perfect solution for your specific garage needs.
No, the product information specifies it is compatible with 2019 and 2020 model years only, so it may not align correctly with later model years.
According to the design details, the color is listed as "Black beige wire size," indicating a specific colorway, though the primary protective function remains consistent.
The Generic liner relies on matching trunk contours for a precise fit, whereas the NGrtQAskY mat is designed for a specific installation target on the CX-30 boot liner floor.
