Gulfood is the largest food and beverage show in the Middle East. Gulfood 2020 included 5,000 exhibitors from 200 countries and 100,000 visitors. The USA Pavilion at this USDA-endorsed show welcomed 179 exhibitors. Gulfood is broken into eight sectors including dairy; meat and poultry; power brands; pulses, grains and cereals; health, wellness and free-from foods; world food; beverages; and fats and oils. Sought-after products include fresh fruit, beef and poultry, cheese, dried fruits and nuts, breakfast cereals, confectionary products, edible oils, sweeteners, pulses, planting seeds, frozen vegetables, condiments, sauces, chocolates, cookies, fruit and vegetable juices, ingredients for food processing, and pet food. Gulfood 2021 was reduced in size to accommodate COVID-19 social distancing requirements. The USA Pavilion welcomed 57 exhibitors.
