Meredith Thomas is a Learn Captain with GEG New Jersey and a dedicated educator with a wealth of experience in curriculum development and teaching across various educational levels. With a background in Music Education and a Master's in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education, Meredith has been shaping young minds since 2002.

Meredith's expertise extends from Pre-Kindergarten to High School, where she has crafted engaging Computer Science, Coding, and Robotics curricula. Her passion for STEAM education shines through both in-person and remote teaching experiences within New Jersey's public school system.

Meredith has recently earned her doctorate completing her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Teaching at National University. She also holds a Principal’s Certificate of Eligibility, Supervisory Certificate, and Google Certified Educator Levels 1 and 2. As a Learn Captain for New Jersey’s Google Educator Group, Meredith is deeply committed to fostering digital literacy and innovative teaching practices.

Meredith is also a published author, contributing articles and chapters to educational resources such as Amplify Student Inquiry. She has mentored aspiring educators and seasoned teachers alike, sharing her wealth of knowledge and passion for student-centered learning.
