GEET Music is primarily a local music player.
The app may request permission to access audio/media files stored on your device. This access is used to discover, display and play music selected or permitted by you.
Your local audio files are processed on your device and are not uploaded by GEET Music to the developer's servers.
GEET Music includes an online lyrics feature.
When online lyrics are requested, information related to the song, such as song title, artist, album and duration where available, may be transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the third-party lyrics service LRCLIB for the purpose of finding matching lyrics.
GEET Music does not use this information for advertising or user profiling.
The third-party service may process network information, including an IP address, as part of normal internet communication and according to its own practices.
GEET Music may request notification permission and use Android foreground media-playback functionality to provide background music playback and playback controls.
These permissions are used only for music-player functionality.
GEET Music does not require users to create an account or sign in to use the application.
The current version of GEET Music does not integrate an advertising SDK, Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
GEET Music does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Features such as playlists, favorites, playback preferences and other application settings may be stored locally on your device to provide the requested functionality.
Removing the application or clearing its application data may remove locally stored GEET Music information.
Where GEET Music communicates with supported online services, network requests are made using secure HTTPS connections.
GEET Music is designed to minimize transmission of information and to keep local music and application information on the user's device wherever possible.
GEET Music may communicate with third-party services when a feature requiring that service is used, including LRCLIB for online lyrics.
Third-party services operate according to their own terms and privacy practices.
GEET Music is a general-purpose music player and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
GEET Music does not maintain a developer-operated user account database for the current version.
Data maintained locally by the application can generally be removed by clearing the application's data or uninstalling GEET Music.
