ABOUT


The library of GDC Nowshera is under the supervision of worthy Principal Dr Surinder Sharma. The college has a collection of approximately 5600 books in almost 20 subjects. Several periodicals (magazines, newspapers and journals) are available for the benefit of the students. Library offers free WIFI facility to all the students. All the staff members and students are registered in NDLI and NLIST for accessing the e- resources.

LIBRARY RULES


Library Rules

  • The college library is open for students and staff from 9 a.m to 3 p.m on all working days.

  • Bring your identity card while you visit the library.

  • In case any of the borrowed items being lost or destroyed, you are required to replace it with a new one or pay the cost of the book.

  • Do not take any book or other library material out of the library without following the borrowing procedures.

  • Students are allowed to get issued only two books at a time which has to be returned within 7 days failing which a fine @Rs 1 per day will be charged.

  • Reference books, journals and magazines are only for consultation within the library and are not to be taken out of library premise.

  • Using a mobile phone is prohibited.

  • Sleeping, smoking, chatting, eating etc are strictly prohibited in the library.
