Chunzhi Gu (En) / 顧　淳祉　グー　チュンジー (Ja)

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan. Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. of Engineering from University of Fukui in Sep. 2023.

Research interests: My research lies at the intersection of computer vision, computer graphics, and pattern recognition. My current main focus is on two folds: understanding digital human body or facial behavior with 3D/2D generative modeling; processing/editing/synthesizing visual media contents, such as images, videos, or 3D point cloud. I am also greatly interested in analyzing the underlying data pattern using machine learning techniques.
