Chunzhi Gu (En) / 顧　淳祉　グー　チュンジー (Ja)            

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan. Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. of Engineering from University of Fukui in Sep. 2023.

Research interests: My research lies at the intersection of computer vision and computer graphics and focuses centrally on uncertainty modeling for visual data computing tasks. Specifically, I have been working on modeling digital human behavior (e.g.,  human motion prediction/generation/control) and image editing (e.g., color) or recovery (e.g., deblurring). I am also greatly interested in other forms of generative AI for 3D/2D, for example, facial animation synthesis and image colorization.
