Hello! My name is Phoebe Chambers and I am a part of the the Global Citizen Scholar (GCS) program at the Academy of Notre Dame. The GCS program provides students with opportunities to develop global competencies through taking globally oriented courses, traveling internationally, engaging in cross-cultural experiences, and connecting with our network of sister schools. Participation in this program has widened my understanding of cultural diversity and has deepened my understanding of international relationships.
This webfolio is a compilation of everything I have participated in throughout my time in the Global Citizen Scholar program (2020 - 2024).

Goals of the Notre Dame Global Scholars program as outlined on the GCS webpage:
To deepen the student’s knowledge of global issues and to develop her 21st century global competencies, specifically positive identity formation, awareness of diverse worldviews, empathy, leadership, and intercultural skills such as communication and confidence.
To provide students with the necessary structure to document and connect a wide variety of curricular and cocurricular globally-oriented and cross-cultural experiences.
To prepare students for future academic study and professional life, which will require informed and nimble navigation among diverse cultural norms and knowledge and belief systems.
