The Salvation Army provides:

  • Temporary food assistance

  • Support during times of crisis

  • Budget counselling

  • Advocacy

  • Referral services

  • Christmas assistance program with application (applications are available mid-October through November)

Tuesday evening appointments available - call to make an appointment

COVID-19 OPERATIONS
The food band is working normal hours but you must call 24 hours ahead. A bag of food will be prepared and can be picked up.

St. Vincent De Paul provides:

  • Non-perishable foods to families and individuals in need

  • Annual Christmas basket program for families (families must preregister, call in October/November for registration times)

Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30am

Register in person - identification (Birth Certificate) required for all members of the family to be registered.

To make an appointment for pick-up call 705-549-2560, Tuesday to Thursday between 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Ask for the Christmas Hamper application when scheduling your food bank pick-up.

Georgian Bay Food Network will function as a store front style foodbank. Members of the community struggling with food insecurity are welcome to select their own healthy perishable/non-perishable food items.
