1) Create a sample of each craft for VBS
2) Create glow items for the VBS Glow Party!
3) Rehearse the VBS Skit to be presented during church service

LESSON 4: Paul and Silas Praise in the Light
Scripture Study: Acts 16:16-24

Background Scripture: Acts 16; Psalm 18:3, 100:4, 150
Theme Connection: Children will appreciate music and the arts, especially the power of praise during times of distress.
Lesson Objective: By the end of the lesson on Paul and Silas, students will agree that praise is a powerful distress signal and find their own personal favorite praise song to sing in times of distress.

Background Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:12; Revelation 1, 21; 1 Thesssalonians 4
Theme Connection: Students will anticipate heaven as God's ultimate vision for believers and write their God inspired visions for their futures here on earth.
Lesson Objective: By the end of the lesson on John's vision, about the return of Jesus, students will formulate a vision statement for their lives to spread God's light through service to the world.
