WHAT’S TRENDING: LOYALTY MATTERS 

Bible Reading: John 20:11–18 

There are several ways for people to express their loyalty online. They can like posts and follow things of interest, such as blogs, webpages, and social networking sites. They can pin (or share) pictures and ideas or repost  them. They can even create mini collages of things that are most important to them. For some, that’s the  extent of their loyalty. They do little else besides like, pin, and post. And when things get challenging they  are on to the next trend, option, or idea.  

Reflection: Are you as loyal to God as you are to your friends? Your favorite restaurant? Your favorite  recording artist? Your favorite TV show? Your favorite sports team?  

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I confess that sometimes I have misplaced loyalty. I use more passion for  telling people about my favorite things than I do telling them about You. Please forgive me. In Jesus’  name, amen.
