WHAT’S TRENDING: SERVICE COUNTS! 

Bible Reading: Luke 23:18–26 

Some people really want to do big things for God, and there’s nothing wrong with this desire. However,  some people only love the limelight. They want to be seen and heard. They want celebration for everything they do. They would never do small jobs because they wouldn’t get noticed. If a person says they  want to accomplish big things for God, but really they want people’s recognition, that’s a problem. Everything we do should point back to God and bring honor to Him. Those who serve are the most honored  in God’s Kingdom.  

Reflection: What are your gifts and talents? Is there something you can easily do that others can’t do? Ask  God to show you how to use Your gift for His glory. 

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I am available for service. You have equipped me with gifts, talents, and  abilities that will further Your kingdom. Please open my eyes to opportunities that are available for me  to serve. In Jesus’ name, amen.
