WHAT’S TRENDING: MOVED TO ACTION!

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 38:6–13 

God moves us to action in helping others. As long as people are alive on  this earth, there will always be people in need. It has been said that there is enough food on the earth to feed everyone alive on the planet, yet there are people who go to bed hungry every day in cities all over the world. God typically uses people to meet  the needs of other people. By simply lending a helping hand and showing someone that we care, we could  quite possibly be an answer to their prayer. 

Reflection: Have you ever been in need? Did someone care enough to help you? Think about how you  felt. Look around and help someone else in the same way.  

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, it is so easy to become overwhelmed with the needs all around me. Please  remind me that it is my job to be Your hands and Your feet. Speak to my heart and show me how to reach  out and care for others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
