WHAT’S TRENDING: PRAYER MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 14:8–13

Many Christians do a great deal of unnecessary worrying and stressing when they come up against difficult and trying times. It would be in our best interest to follow King Asa’s example. Although we don’t know how long the process took, it appears that the moment he realized he was outnumbered, he turned to the only One who could solve his problem. He prayed to the Lord his God.

Reflection: What should you do when facing a difficult or challenging circumstance? Worry too much? Scroll social media? Spend too much money? Overthink? Call friends? The answer is that we need to turn to Christ.

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I am grateful that You hear me when I pray. When problems arise, it is so easy for me to get distracted and try to figure things out on my own. Help me to remember that it is Your responsibility to take care of me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
