PreSchool and Elementary Class

Made Special, Strong in Faith: This Black History Sunday School series helps children understand that God created them with value, strengthens them through life’s challenges, guides them to stand for what is right, and has a purposeful plan for their lives. Each lesson provides reminders about what God wants us to do and how God wants us to live.   Each lesson also highlights a Black History Faith Hero. 

For the PreSchool and Elementary class, lessons may include the following: 

• A Memory Verse with actions that make learning it fun and interactive,

• A Bible story that helps children see God’s plan for their lives.

• Black History Faith Hero highlighting Black history heroes who trusted God and lived boldly for what is right.

• Hands-on activities and crafts to reinforce God’s truths in a memorable way.

• Songs, and motions, that make learning fun and engaging.

• Take-home messages to continue faith conversations at home.
