November Challenge: HYGGE Activities
Pronounced "Hu-guh" is a Danish idea which means to be happy and feel cozy.
Hygge promotes the idea of enjoying and indulging in the small good things in life.
The Challenge is simple - you will spend 4 weeks improving your health, happiness, and overall connectedness.
THE RULES
Explore Hygge Activities and/or add Hygge to your workouts throughout the month:
Get moving (#GCActive) 23 min./day. Add or do an hygge activity.
Appreciate your surroundings and capture something to show an Hygge activity.
Nominate other groups, teams, colleagues to the challenge. 48 hrs to complete.

Walking at sunrise and/or sunset
Picnic: eat outdoors
Go for a long hike - explore a new trail
Challenge yourself to get some fresh air everyday and see how it benefits both your mental/physical health

COMMUNITY
Playing alongside a team or community is an important part of the GCActive Movement, keeping you motivated, on-track, and accountable for your daily/weekly progress. Playing on a team is not required, but for those interested, it’s an easy way to help foster success. You may play alone, challenge your team, or challenge another team even another Department.
