World Cup Viz

Objective: This project's goal is to use Power BI to visualize Brazil's World Cup performance throughout history and to assess how they are projected to fare in the 2022 tournament.

Data Sources:

• Historical World Cup data from 1930-2018, including match results, goal scorers, and statistics for all teams. 

• Friendly Matches 

• Data on Brazil's squad and key players for the 2022 World Cup, including player statistics and analysis.

Data Cleaning:

• I took care of cleaning and pre-processing the data  with Power Query to make sure it was in the perfect format for analyzing and visualizing in Power BI. This included eliminating missing values, renaming columns, and merging multiple data sources and modelling the data

Data Analysis:

• The data was analyzed to identify key trends and patterns in Brazil's performance in past World Cups and to make predictions about their expected performance in the 2022 World Cup.

Limitations:

• The analysis is based on historical data and does not take into account any external factors such as injuries or unexpected events that may affect the team's performance in the 2022 World Cup.

Conclusion:

• The visualization will provide a comprehensive and easy-to-understand overview of Brazil's performance in past World Cups and their expected performance in the 2022 World Cup. It will allow users to gain insight into the team's strengths and weaknesses, as well as identify key players and strategies for success.
