Green Building Council

Green Building Council (Brunei) was formed to address the effects of the construction industry on the environment. In 2010, His Majesty’s Government approved the setting up of “Green Council Brunei” with the core objectives to drive Brunei Darussalam's construction industry towards more environment-friendly buildings. To promote sustainability in the built environment and raise environmental awareness among developers, designers and builders when they start project conceptualization and design, as well as during construction. GBC also aims to promote environmental awareness among the general public.
