About Me
Graduate Research Assistant, First Year PhD Student, University of Utah
I started my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Jeff Phillips and joined the University of Utah as a graduate research assistant in the fall of 2024. My research topic is high-dimensional data analysis and the application of machine learning techniques in reducing dimensionality in Astronomy.
I have worked as an AI Engineer at Intelligent Machines Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for three and a half years. I have worked on various projects encompassing images, audio, and documents. I have also worked as a researcher at the University of Prince Mugrin, Medinah, Saudia Arabia, and as a software developer at Dmoney Bangladesh Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a researcher, I worked on curating image and tabular datasets of COVID-19 patients and building alternate deep-learning-based solutions to detect the presence of SARS-COV2 in COVID-19-positive patients. I also worked as a software engineer, building APIs for the User Management System of Dmoney Bangladesh Limited. Before starting my professional career, I completed my Computer Science and Engineering undergrad from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
I have experience researching Human-Computer Interaction augmented with Computer Vision and Deep Learning. I aim to continue my research in HCI, applied ML, and Computer Vision.
