This is my favorite cultural dish, my family often ate this during summer to stay cool and it is a common dish served at gatherings and small resteraunts. they call it the quality check of a chef. 

Red packets are my favorite personal cultural items because it contains money, and the red and gold represent wealth and good fortune for the coming year. These are handed out to kids during new years to bless them with fortune and as pocket money for the rest of the year. 

The Chinese new year is the largest Chinese festivel every year, it marks the beginning of a new calender and various events are hosted, including an exclusive TV show that is broadcasted national and features the countries largest stars and talents.
