Research
My research focuses on using machine learning/AI, data science, and econometrics to derive insights about firms, markets, labor, and communities. For this purpose, I leverage unstructured and distributed data sources such as the web and social media with predictive analytics, text mining, and network science. I study questions related to inter-firm competition, human resource analytics, innovation, sustainability and resilience, diversity, online visibility, and health communities.
