GAURAV KUMAR (Ph.D.)
Gaurav Kumar completed his Ph.D. degree in May 2024, from Geology and Geophysics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur specializing in earthquake seismology. His research focuses on delineating the crustal structure beneath Sikkim Himalaya and measuring the behavior of upper mantle discontinuities (i.e. 410 and 660 km) in the presence of faster anomalies associated with Indian lithosphere beneath Himalayan orogen.
