Seminar's objective is a basic introduction to Gauge theory by covering the work of Atyiah-Bott on Yang Mills on Riemann surfaces following up the Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions. The seminar is intended for graduate students interested in Gauge theory and the participants can choose to present a talk from the list of topics below or a closely related proposal. The duration of the talks are expected to be one and a half hours at most.
