What is GatorServe?

GatorServe is a UHD tradition that brings together UHD students, staff, faculty, friends, families and community partners to complete projects in service of our neighbors. The fall semester GatorServe event is held in honor of the September 11th National Day of Service. The spring semester GatorServe is held in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

GatorServe volunteers will be provided transportation, lunch, a t-shirt, and all required materials for service projects.

GatorServe involves a wide range of service projects for volunteers to choose from. Projects might range from painting, gardening, neighborhood and bayou clean ups to helping local public schools with various tasks around their facilities.
