April 6th (Thursday), 2023 @5pm → Workshop: College Search
Description: This interactive workshop provides 11th graders with an overview of the college selection and application processes. Attendees learned detailed information about admission factors and college search and exploration tools to be used to build a college list.
April 27th (Thursday), 2023 @5pm → Workshop: Financial Aid & Scholarships
Description: This workshop introduces 11th grade students and their parents to the process of maximizing financial aid for college. Types and sources of financial aid as well as applications such as FAFSA, TAP, CSS Profile, Excelsior Scholarship will be discussed in length. Scholarship search resources, both online and print, will also be introduced.
May 18th (Thursday), 2023 @5pm →Workshop: Summer Academic Enrichment
Description: Rising seniors will learn about enrichment programs such as internships, (virtual) fly-in programs, and other enrichment opportunities to take advantage of during the summer and the impact on their college applications.
