Carlos Huicochea Rivera
born in the city of Puebla de Zaragoza on September 30, 1999, is a visual artist graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNAM. He develops his work mainly in drawing, engraving and sculpture, but is not limited to the exclusive use of these when he wants to create his pieces.
The themes he has been handling throughout his production are varied, but primarily has explored the emotional representation through animals and creatures of his invention, with the aim that these serve as agents of emotional expression.
In 2022 he had the opportunity to present his work in two collaborative exhibitions. The first one in conjunction with colleagues from the sculpture workshop within the FAD, each showing a sculptural piece developed within the Kiyoto Ota workshop. The second exhibition was for a selection competition for the "1. Internationale GCB-MiniPrint 2022" where together with approximately 300 printmakers exhibited their prints in Berlin, Germany.
