Una noche en la Ciudad de México
In Mexico City there are 3,861 species of flora and fauna, of which at least 75 of them are at risk or in danger of extinction. It is from this moment where I realize that there are species that fulfill their function within their habitat both during the day and at night, the role played by spiders, moths, crickets, among other species, is just as important as the role played by bees, butterflies, flowers and species that are active thanks to sunlight. Both contribute to the proper functioning of the urban ecosystem and their contributions to the environment are innumerable, which is why I decided to divide this work into two canvases, to demonstrate how well they complement each other and how, if either of them were to be missing, their loss would be evident.

I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Centro de Arte Mexicano (2018- 2022). I am currently a painter, specializing in the mural technique, which I use as a tool to bring society closer to wildlife species and thus, generate greater environmental awareness and love for nature.
