# Privacy Policy for AI Garage Designer Studio

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how **AI Garage Designer Studio** (the "App") collects, uses, transmits, protects, and deletes your data.
## 1. What Data the App Collects
The App collects only the data needed to provide its garage design features:
- **Text prompts and design briefs:** Garage, workshop, storage, material, layout, lighting, size, and style details that you manually type or select in the App.
- **Optional selected photos:** If you use the Empty Garage feature, you may choose a photo from your photo library or take a new photo of a garage, workshop, storage room, or utility space. Only the single image you select or capture is used for that generation.
- **Generated images and gallery metadata:** Generated designs, prompts, style labels, and creation dates are saved locally on your device so you can view, share, save, or delete them later.
- **Purchase and subscription status:** If you subscribe or purchase credits, purchase entitlement information may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat to activate premium access and credits.
The App does **not** collect location data, contacts, advertising identifiers, microphone audio, browsing history, or your full photo library.
## 2. How Data is Collected
Data is collected only through actions you initiate inside the App:
- Typing a prompt or selecting design brief options.
- Tapping Gallery to select an Empty Garage photo.
- Tapping Camera to photograph an Empty Garage space.
- Tapping Generate to start AI processing.
- Tapping Save, Share, or Delete in the local gallery.
- Starting a purchase, subscription, restore, or entitlement check.
Photo library and camera access are optional and are requested only when you use the related Empty Garage or saving feature.
## 3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used only to provide the App's core functionality:
- To enhance your text prompt into a clearer garage design brief.
- To generate AI garage, workshop, storage, or Empty Garage redesign images.
- To use your selected or captured Empty Garage photo as a visual reference for one image-to-image redesign.
- To save generated designs locally on your device.
- To let you share, save to Photos, or delete generated designs.
- To manage subscriptions, credits, and purchase restore status.
We do not use your prompts, selected photos, generated images, or purchase status for advertising, tracking, selling data, or building a user profile.
## 4. Third-Party Data Sharing
To provide AI generation and purchase functionality, the App uses the following third-party services:
1. **OpenAI, L.L.C.**
The App sends text prompts and design brief details to OpenAI to enhance and structure the prompt for better garage design generation. Empty Garage photos are not sent to OpenAI by this App.
2. **Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs**
The App sends the enhanced text prompt to Replicate / Black Forest Labs to generate the final AI image. If you use the Empty Garage feature, only the single garage/workshop/storage photo you selected or captured is also sent to Replicate / Black Forest Labs as a visual reference for image-to-image redesign.
3. **RevenueCat**
The App may use RevenueCat to process subscription status, entitlement status, purchase restore status, and credit activation.
4. **Apple App Store / Google Play**
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their own payment and privacy systems.
We do **not** intentionally send your name, email address, device ID, location, contacts, microphone data, advertising identifier, or full photo library to OpenAI or Replicate / Black Forest Labs.
## 5. Third-Party Protection
The third-party services listed above are expected to provide the same or equal protection for the data they process as described in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable App Store privacy guidelines.
OpenAI and Replicate / Black Forest Labs process the data only to support the App's AI generation features. API data is transmitted securely and is not used by these providers to publicly train their base models by default. Third-party providers may retain limited data for security, abuse monitoring, operational, or legal compliance purposes according to their own policies.
## 6. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- **Photo Library Read Access:** Used only when you choose an Empty Garage or workspace photo for AI redesign. Only the selected image is used. The App does not scan, index, browse, upload, modify, or collect your full photo library.
- **Photo Library Add Access:** Used only when you choose to save an AI-generated garage design to your Photos library.
- **Camera Access:** Used only when you choose to take a photo of an Empty Garage or workspace for AI redesign. The camera is activated only after you tap the Camera button. The App does not record video, audio, or use the camera in the background.
If you deny photo or camera permission, you can still use text-based garage design generation.
## 7. Consent Before AI Processing
Before the App sends your first prompt or optional Empty Garage photo to third-party AI services, it shows a clear AI Data Notice.
- If you agree, the App may send the relevant text prompt and, only in Empty Garage mode, the selected or captured photo to the AI providers listed above.
- If you decline, the App does not send that data for AI generation and the generation process will not continue.
You can reset AI data consent in the App's Settings screen. After consent is reset, the App will show the AI Data Notice again before the next AI generation.
## 8. Data Retention and Deletion
Generated images and gallery records are stored locally on your device. You can delete individual gallery items inside the App. Deleting a gallery item removes the local image file and related gallery metadata from the App.
Deleting the App removes its local data from your device.
The App does not maintain its own permanent external server database of your prompts, selected photos, or generated images. Third-party AI and purchase providers may process and retain data according to their own retention, security, abuse monitoring, and legal compliance policies.
## 9. Data Security
The App uses secure HTTPS/TLS connections when transmitting data to third-party services. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data processed by the App.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended to collect personal data from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
## 11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted by updating this Privacy Policy. Changes are effective when posted.
