Gari Yamel Peralta Alvarez

About me:

I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the Institut für Mathematik of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, working under the joint supervision of Prof. Dr. Jürg Kramer  (HU Berlin) and Prof. José Ignacio Burgos-Gil (ICMAT Madrid). I am also a member and doctoral fellowship holder of the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS).

My research lies in the area of Arithmetic Geometry. My doctoral project is to extend the work of Burgos, Philippon and Sombra on the Arakelov geometry of toric varieties to admit metrics with singularities, for example, the ones considered in the work of Burgos, Kramer and Kühn.  I am also interested in the theory of automorphic forms and their relation to Galois representations.
