On a very basic level, I just love people. I want to see them thrive. I want to connect them to each other as their greatest natural resource. It is not always easy to navigate the many challenges of getting people together to be interdependent. There have been times where we have experienced disappointment and even what feels like betrayal but I know we are on a journey recovering from years of cultivated mistrust and are in the midst of operating with reduced capacity and we learn simply to try again better. It is not an option to throw our hands up and abandon this mission.
