Project: ATC LEVEL UP BOOTCAMP (Trainer)

I served as the lead trainer for the Level Up Data Analysis Bootcamp, guiding participants through the essentials of data analytics with PowerBI, including power query, basic DAX, KPIs, and report design. The program featured guest speakers like Matthew Solomon and Damilare Alfred Bankole (B.SC, CPM), who shared real-world insights on analytical tools.

The bootcamp successfully trained over 100 participants from five African countries, fostering the growth of the data analysis community for three days. For those unable to attend, sessions were made accessible via YouTube and team meetings, ensuring everyone could benefit from this comprehensive training.

Project: ADVENTUREWORKS-ANALYSIS WITH MICROSOFT FABRIC AND SQL SERVER

This project exemplifies the seamless integration of Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server On-Premises to construct an interactive dashboard, facilitating comprehensive data analysis for informed decision-making. By leveraging advanced dataflow Gen2 techniques and establishing an On-Premises gateway connection, raw data from SQL views was transformed into actionable insights within Power BI Desktop. Emphasizing performance optimization, Import Mode was favoured over DirectQuery, ensuring efficient data processing. The resulting dashboard not only provided a holistic view of AdventureWorks' performance but also laid the groundwork for future data-driven endeavours, showcasing the project's pivotal role in driving informed business strategies.

Project: AFRICA UNEMPLOYMENT ANALYSIS

This analysis focuses on unemployment in Africa, identifying Djibouti, Lesotho, South Africa, Eswatini, and Libya as the top five countries with high rates. Surprisingly, despite its large population, Nigeria ranks 12th in electricity access and 34th in unemployment rates. Nigeria, Morocco, and Botswana lead in limited liability companies, crucial for employment. Alarming trends include high female unemployment and 52.22% inconsistent electricity access impacting economic growth. The analysis notes a 12.36% increase in unemployment between 1991 and 2021. Recommendations include investing in limited liability companies and providing job-ready skills training for youth.

The goal of this project is to delve into the data of the video game industry, extracting insights into market trends, identifying top performers, and discerning key success factors. Using the Power Query Editor in Power BI Desktop, data cleaning tasks involve organizing, renaming, sorting, eliminating empty columns, addressing missing values, and ensuring accurate data types for analysis. In conclusion, the video game industry emerges as a lucrative and dynamic market with notable fluctuations. The project sheds light on top-selling consoles, genres, games, and publishers, offering insights into regional sales distribution. Additionally, a positive correlation between transaction volume and total sales underscores the industry's resilience and robust nature.

Project: NIGERIAN POPULATION ETL PIPELINE WITH MICROSOFT FABRIC

This project utilizes Microsoft Fabric Architecture to create a dynamic data system for collecting, organizing, and updating information from the Worldometer website. Leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI, the process includes ETL, data cleaning, and visualization. The dataset, focused on Nigeria's population, undergoes a meticulous ETL process with a Python function for column header standardization. The standardized data is loaded into a Lakehouse, promoted to organized tables, and made accessible for SQL querying. The analysis provides key insights into Nigeria's demographics, indicating a young population, historical trends, and projections for positive net immigration, offering valuable information for strategic decision-making.

Project: ENTERTAINMENT SENTIMENT ANALYSIS AND CLASSIFICATION USING PYTHON

The objective of this project is to develop a Twitter sentiment analysis model using Logistic Regression methods. The model will be trained on a labeled dataset of tweets and then tested on new data, providing insights into public sentiment on various issues. The project follows the CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) model. The dataset, consisting of 6443 labeled tweets across six subjects (Arts & Culture, Business & Entrepreneurs, Pop Culture, Daily Life, Sports & Gaming, Science & Technology), was collected from Twitter and labeled by humans using Amazon's Mechanical Turk between 2019 and 2021.

Project: DATA EXTRACTION WITH MICROSOFT FABRIC DATAMART USING SQL

The CO2 Data Extraction project aimed to utilize Microsoft Fabric's DataMart for comprehensive data processing, encompassing ingestion, cleansing, transformation, modeling, and visualization. The chosen approach leveraged DataMart's efficiency in connecting to diverse tables from different sources, specifically CSV files in a OneDrive folder. The subsequent data transformation phase involved essential steps such as promoting headers, renaming rows, and eliminating redundancies for both CO2_2021 and Location tables. Following this, a Many-to-One relationship was established between the tables based on the common key, PlantID, facilitating effective data modeling.

Project: HOUSE PRICE PREDICTION IN NIGERIA USING PYTHON

The objective of the hackathon was to develop a robust predictive model for estimating house prices in Nigeria. The analysis revealed a right-skewed histogram, indicating most houses were priced at the lower end, with a tail of higher-priced properties. Common purchasing patterns included houses with 1 to 4 bedrooms and 1 to 3 bathrooms, while parking spaces with 3 to 4 slots were popular. These trends align with real estate market patterns. Project: SAUCE & SPOON PROJECT MANAGEMENT ARTIFACT

This project aims to enhance the dining experience at Sauce & Spoon North and Sauce & Spoon Downtown by introducing menu tablets at the bar section, streamlining order placements. Tasks included project initiation, planning, deliverables, procurement, stakeholder management, and survey analysis. Post-launch, 86% of guests rated their satisfaction as 4 or 5, with tablets reducing wait times by 30 minutes and boosting the daily guest count by 10%. Efficient waitstaff training ensures a positive experience for customers using the new technology.
