To Design and Simulate of 12 Pulse Voltage Source Converter
At the end of this experiment students are able to
LO1: Understand the operation of a 12-pulse converter
LO2: Model a 12-pulse converter in MATLAB/Simulink
LO3: Analyze the output voltage and current waveforms .
LO4: Evaluate the harmonic content .
MATLAB Software: Simscape (power system toolbox)
Theory should include following point
a) Analysis of 6 pulse converter
b) Analysis of 12 pulse converter
Design and Simulate 12 pulse converter as shown in follwoing diagram
Watch the following video to design simulation circuit
From simulation attach the waveforms for any ONE load condition from the following table.
The waveform should consists
(1) Source side voltage, current with THD window
(2) Load side voltage, current
From simulation note down record the values in following table
