Who we are - GameFreaks101™

“What will playing games ever do for you? It’s not like you’re going to make a career of it.” This is something the founder of our company heard every once in a while when growing up. Now that she's all grown up, mother dearest finally sees the benefits of playing all those games. After all, it was the childhood and teenaged gaming that led to the creation of GameFreaks101™. Everyone else who is part of our team has been an avid gamer, and has pledged to remain one for all time to come.

A freak is typically someone who does not conform to norms set by society at large. These people are usually extremely clever, with a high penchant for problem solving. A freak is also someone who is obsessed with, or extremely knowledgeable about something. If you’re a freak for games, there’s every chance you’re a heady mix of both.

I pledge allegiance to all things associated with GameFreaks101™, which include fellow players in all their avatars. I will not leave a game in between, unless it’s because of what I consider an emergency. I understand that the road for gamer women can be demoralizing and rough, because of which I will further their cause in any way possible. I believe in unity, which is why I will never leave my gamer brethren in a lurch. Safety remains important to me at all times, even when it’s unappreciated or unpopular.
