These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Game Emulator (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The App
The App is a Game Boy Advance emulator that allows you to play compatible user-supplied files on your device. The App does not include, provide, host, sell, link to, or download ROM files, BIOS files, or games.
2. Your Responsibility for Files
You are solely responsible for the files you import into the App. You may use the App only with files that you own or are legally authorized to use. You must not use the App to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any third party.
3. No Affiliation
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, or any game publisher or rights holder. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control.
5. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful purposes;
- distribute copyrighted games or other content without authorization;
- modify, reverse engineer, or misuse the App except where allowed by applicable law;
- use the App in a way that violates Apple’s App Store terms or applicable laws.
6. Open Source Components
The App may include open source software, including mGBA, which is made available under its applicable open source license. Open source notices and license terms apply only to the relevant components.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every file, or free from data loss. You should keep backup copies of files and save data that are important to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your right to use the App if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after the updated Terms are made available means you accept the updated Terms.
