Information we collect
We do not collect any information. Our apps do not collect, transmit, or process any personal data
or any other data about you or your device. We operate no servers and receive nothing from your device.
How our apps work
Our apps request no permissions, with one exception: Wittgenstein includes the Google Play Billing Library
so that it can offer an optional purchase. See "In-app purchases" below.
Our apps contain no advertising and do not use an advertising ID.
We add no analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting software of our own.
Our apps require no account and no sign-in.
Nothing you do in the apps is sent to us. Apart from the purchase described below, our apps do not communicate with any server at all.
In-app purchases
Wittgenstein offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full text. The purchase is processed entirely by Google Play.
We never see, receive, or store your payment details, billing address, or Google account information.
Google tells the app only whether the unlock has been bought.
Google's handling of that transaction is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
To make this possible the app includes the Google Play Billing Library, which declares the com.android.vending.BILLING
permission and communicates with the Google Play Store app on your device.
Wittgenstein stores two small values on your device: whether the unlock has been purchased,
and which sentences make up today's free selection. Neither is personal information, neither ever leaves your device,
and both are removed when you uninstall the app.
Sharing
Because we collect no data, we have nothing to share, sell, or transfer to anyone.
The only third party involved in any of our apps is Google, which processes the Wittgenstein purchase as described above.
Data retention and deletion
We retain no data, so there is nothing for us to delete.
The two values Wittgenstein stores on your device are removed when you uninstall the app.
Uninstalling an app removes it completely from your device.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and collect no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this same address with an updated date above.
