Redmi Note 10 Pro and I want to use wallpaper carousel with just the images I've selected in my gallery. But it only allows for it to be every 2nd images and will use stock images twice before one in my gallery which really annoys me so I'm wondering if there's a way to make it just the images in my gallery.

You can change the background images on your phone's Home screens and lock screens. You can choose from your own photos or use images that come on your phone, including images that change automatically.

Gallery Photo Download Wallpaper

We all have galleries full of photos and videos of our loved ones, and those pictures often make the best Home screen wallpapers. However, if you want to step it up a notch, One UI 5 Galaxy phones and tablets also let you set videos as your lock screen! Now you can display your family and friends live in action.

Next, touch and drag your picture around to situate it. Tap Filter at the bottom to add a filter to your wallpaper, and then swipe through the available options until you find one that you like. Your picture will be cropped to fit the screen, so it's best if you don't crop the picture beforehand.

Has this issue been resolved? I cant select the gallery for my wallpaper and as above, the error Im getting isnt correct. The permissions are set to allow access but it doesnt work. I have an LG Thin-Q.

Below you'll find a number of photo galleries. If you're looking for a specific image, try using the NPS.gov site-wide multimedia search tool, NPGallery, where you can search based on location, media type (image, video, etc) and text. NPGallery offers a sampling of images from all parks.

My Lock Screen and wallpaper images are old photos that are no longer in my photo library. Since the phone keeps glitching to black background, I want to make sure I have copies of the images as backups. Is there any way to save these images to my photo library?

Those files are not stored in a user-accessible place. However, the files should be included in your backups. If you need to restore the phone from a backup, you should see your wallpaper. I've been transferring the same wallpaper from phone to phone for years.

same issue, called apple about it (they are aware of the issue) this was about a month ago though. very disappointing especially for my parents who love their backgrounds and I made them special wallpaper photos on each of their macs.

I have had some success getting the wallpaper to work.... I click on SHOW ALL then click the first photo then scroll down to the last photo and click it - then go back to the first photo and select auto rotate. This seems to get it to cycle through ALL of the photos in the album.... even albums with 1500 photos.

I let wallpaper cycle for awhile and then discovered that it is rotating through all photos that have my wife! I love that, but am curious why and how it can happen. I left it going, but stopped it before trying to cycle through all 2,000.

Clicking on "show all" for a specific album (all photos in my case), scrolling down to the last picture in that album, selecting the last picture, click the random checkbox, and finally setting how often you want it to cycle seems to work.

the reason for this issue is, the shuffle function can only show "downloaded" images. So if you click every image through the folder in the wallpaper tab the full size image are being downloaded and it can be used in the shuffle function. I think this cache is cleared after restarting your Mac and you have click on every image again.

sure. The images in the wallpaper menu are handled different than in Photos app. The best workaround for me so far is to export the complete folder which you want as a wallpaper and add it as a wallpaper source. that works for me.

Background info: I was browsing the Internet on my phone. I clicked on a photo on a website and clicked "set as wallpaper", which it did. Now however I can't find the photo anywhere on my phone. (It is still set as my wallpaper though.)

Another way might be to look in your Gallery application (or any photo viewer). Most of these will display the Downloads folder (or any folder that holds image files), where you can view the image and set it as your background.

Worst case scenario, I'd look in your browser settings to see if you can find a folder path for where it is saving downloaded information (again, ususally /sdcard/downloads) and use a file manager (like X-plore) to find and open the file, where you will be able to set it as your wallpaper.

Edit3: Many more pictures. Now it contains 40 wallpapers instead of 15. (but you can also download the small version); files uploaded on Mega.co.nz; added one more screenshot

Now I updated the theme pack. It contains now 40 wallpapers (including yours, @Arakasi).

I also uploaded it to MEGA, so it's encrypted (it's secure ) and you can also pick the images you want to download (so you don't have to download the complete ZIP archive or theme file).

Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery, a new space dedicated to collectible design and decorative arts, opens in TriBeCa. Spanning the lofty entirety of the fourth floor of a former textile factory, the gallery will feature historical and antique furniture and design, alongside specially commissioned works by contemporary artists.

To download wallpaper, first click on an image below. Then right-click on the large image and select "Save Picture As". Save the image to an easy-to-remember location on your computer. Windows users: When the download has completed, go into your computer settings (Start --> Settings --> Control Panel) and select "Display". This will show you the "Display Properties" window. Click the "Background" tab, then click the "Browse" button to locate the photo on your computer. Click the "OK" button to see the changes take effect. Enjoy!

Just tried to set up a new wallpaper on my new Pixel 7 Pro phone, but they all get stretched in a very ugly way. The preview picture is fine, but when I set up the wallpaper it gets really ugly. This is a bug or I should do something different?

I don't know about owner profile but it is definitely busted on a work profile. The preview looks good (using stock gallery to apply) but when you actually apply, it is zoomed in about 50% aka stretched. These are with images that match the exact screen pixel count as my phone pixel 7.

I was noticing this exact issue when I was creating wallpapers for my Pixel 7 a couple days ago. Made a bunch of photos the exact screen resolution for the lock screen (1080x2400) or wider ones for the home screen (2160x2400) and found they always previewed perfectly but zoomed in slightly when set. It did this on the stock launcher, Nova, and when set through Simple Gallery.

My fix ended up being to pad out the image 10% to 1188x2640 (needs 120 pixels extra top and bottom, 54 left and right) to fix the lock/single screen ones and oddly enough add the same amount of padding on the wide home screen scrolling wallpapers (final resolution 2268x2640) and then they end up fitting perfectly pixel for pixel. I assumed the wider ones would need to be 2376 wide at first as well but when looking at the edge I could see the border I added.

Once you know the trick then creating images to work for wallpapers isn't that hard but it really shouldn't require this at all, I don't recall this being a problem on my Pixel 3 I just switched from.

AdamBv1 Ok, but no one is creating wallpapers in 2268x2640 size, so I can't download wallpapers in this size and manually is hard to modify it while maintaining the same aspect ratio and not to stretch it ugly. I think this bug should be definitely resolved because it makes the user experience quite bad.

If you're like, well, just about anyone who's had an iPhone for a few years, you probably have hundreds, if not thousands of images in your Photos library. Sure, you've always had the ability to set an image as a desktop wallpaper but it's a manual process. And if you'd like to switch the image, you have to go to your wallpaper settings and choose something all over again.

In my case, I've got over 80,000 pictures in Photos. Some of them are precious (or just goofy) family photos. Some are beautiful shots of landscapes I've seen or cities I've visited. An inordinately large number of them are of my cat, Loki. I'd love to be able to see more than one one at a time, without having to manually choose or dig through thousands of images to find the right one.

In the first iOS 16 public beta (edit: this is now out for everyone now!), Apple enabled the Photo Shuffle wallpaper, one of the new lock screen customizations being introduced. When enabled, Photo Shuffle sifts through your Photos library, picking the best images in the categories you select and showing them on your lock screen on a schedule you determine. 006ab0faaa
