AI Gallery shows the photos and videos already on your device. There is no account. This policy explains what stays on the device and what Google may receive for ads, analytics, and subscriptions.
Photos and videos
With your permission, the app reads images and videos, their dates, and location saved inside the file when that location exists. It uses them to show the gallery, albums, people, places, stories, and search. Face grouping, place names, and smart search run on this device. Photo and video files are not uploaded.
Permissions
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or storage access on older Android versions, are used to show your gallery. ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION is used only to read a location already stored in a photo, so places can be grouped on the device. POST_NOTIFICATIONS is used for optional progress while photos are grouped. You can turn those notifications off in Settings. VIBRATE is used for a light tap when haptic feedback is on. USE_BIOMETRIC is used only if you lock an album with fingerprint or face unlock. The app does not receive your fingerprint or face image. INTERNET is used for ads, analytics, consent, and Google Play billing.
Private vault
Media you lock stays in a vault on this device. The vault password and security answer are stored only as a salted hash on this device. They are not sent to a server.
Google AdMob
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads, including banner, native, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect an advertising ID, device model, operating system, screen size, IP address, approximate location, and how you interact with an ad. Google's policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy. In regions that require it, the app asks for consent before requesting ads. You can turn off ad personalization in your device's ads settings. An active subscription turns ads off in this app. We do not sell your photos to advertisers.
Firebase Analytics
The app uses Firebase Analytics from Google to understand which screens are opened and how subscription screens are used. Events can include a screen name, a subscription plan id, and a price. They do not include your photos, videos, vault password, or security answer. Firebase data is kept under Google's retention rules. This app does not use Firebase Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, or Remote Config.
Subscriptions
Optional plans are billed by Google Play, not by this app. The monthly plan is premium_monthly and the yearly plan is premium_yearly. Prices shown in the app come from Google Play. A plan renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the plan. Restore checks the same Google account for an active plan. While a plan is active, ads stay off and Places, Smart Albums, and album lock stay open. The app stores only whether the plan is active. It does not receive your card number.
What stays on the device
Column count, sort choices, haptic feedback, the notification switch, and thumbnail cache stay on this device. Clearing the cache does not delete photos or videos. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes these settings and the vault password stored by the app. Your photos remain in device storage unless you delete them yourself.
Children
AI Gallery is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new text appears in the app and on this page.
