The Gallatin County Public Safety Communications Center is located in Warsaw Ky, nestled along the fertile banks of the Ohio River and the rolling hills of the Blue Grass. Gallatin County is the Smallest County in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, stretching across 98.9 Square miles. We are the primary 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all emergency and non emergency calls for service. We are also the primary dispatching agency for all Public Safety agencies county wide, including Animal Control, Fire/EMS, Police, Sheriffs Office, Emergency Management and Road services. Dispatchers at Gallatin County Central Dispatch Process approximately 32,000 emergency and non emergency calls a year. Staffed by 8 dispatchers, 3 full time, and 5 part-time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Servicing a population of approximately 9,000 local residents and another 3,000 drivers traveling along interstate 71 daily. Gallatin PSCC is also tasked with calculating and assigning 911 addresses and works closely with Gallatin County PVA. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service to the citizens who contact us in their time of need or just to ask a question. By utilizing the most advanced communications technology available and State accredited training to our staff we have built the foundation needed to begin the mitigation process of any emergency situation that arises. Our mission is to make an effective difference in the community by providing high-quality, professional communications and public notifications to protect life and property. We ensure Emergency Responders and Residents alike are our priority. Through community cooperation, communication, continued education and our commitment to excellence, We are the vital link between the public and emergency services.
