In 1979 graduated from T.G. Shevchenko Kyiv State University. In 1988 defended her PhD thesis (Biological Sciences) on the subject "Peculiarities of thyrotropin and prostaglandins E interaction with the plasma membranes of thyroid cells".

In 2006 she received the title of senior researcher majoring in biochemistry.

After graduating from the university, she worked as a junior researcher in the laboratory of radiology of the Kyiv Research Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism, and from September 1980 - in the laboratory of biochemistry of endocrine diseases of the Kharkiv Research Institute of Endocrinology and Hormone Chemistry.

In October 1989, she was transferred to the position of senior researcher of the laboratory of pathomorphology and electron microscopy at the Kharkiv Research Institute of Therapy (now - L.T. Malaya Therapy National Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Since 2013, he has been working as the head of the laboratory of immuno-biochemical and molecular genetic research.

Valentine Galchinska is engaged in the organization of the implementation of the laboratory fragments of the institute's research and the implementation of new biochemical and molecular genetic research methods, in particular, the study of intestinal microbiota, miRNA, telomere length, gene expression, etc. She ensures the organization of laboratory work in accordance with the requirements of ISO 15189 at the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stages of laboratory research, interaction with the clinical units of the institute in the process of carrying out research works. Directly participates in the implementation of laboratory fragments of the institute's investigation.

She was awarded the Diploma of the Northeastern Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, diplomas of the Department of Health of the Regional State Administration, Novobovarsky district administration of Kharkiv, administration of the institute for many years of hard work, high professionalism and personal contribution to medical science. She received the 2nd degree Diploma of the Kharkiv Society of Inventors and Innovators.

More than 400 printed works, including 135 articles in scientific journals, 30 of which are indexed in the Scopus database and 15 - in the Web of Sciences, 3 methodical recommendations, 18 patents and 6 certificates of copyright registration for the work. copyright to the work.
