Gaku Liu

Since fall 2020, I am an assistant professor at the University of Washington in Seattle.

My research area is geometric combinatorics, especially relating to polytopes, triangulations and polyhedral subdivisions, lattice polytopes, and oriented matroids. I am also broadly interested in other areas of combinatorics such as graph theory, algebraic combinatorics, and extremal combinatorics, as well as applications to algebraic geometry, geometric topology, and complexity theory.

My CV with a list of publications can be found here. (Updated August 23, 2020.)

Polyhedral combinatorics:

Lecture notes for a class I taught in Winter 2020 on polyhedral combinatorics. (Updated December 14, 2020.)
