District laptops will continue to need the last password set before the device was taken off FWISD Network. Because all district devices were taken off Network just before Spring Break, the password you were using then will continue to be your laptop password until the device reconnects to the FWISD Network. Your new password will work for all web-based resources such as the fwisd.org/myfwisd app portal.
If you need your new password, please contact your campus principal.
If you continue to experience an issue with your password, please contact the Help Desk at one of the following two phone numbers:
817-814-3094
817-814-3045
***The staff answering these help calls are only able to help with password issues at this time.***
This information is being updated for 2020-2021 school year.
***The Fort Worth ISD is not endorsing any of these providers. The information offered below is as a public service and for your information only.***

• AT&T COVID-19 response: offers open hot-spots, unlimited data to existing customers, and $10/month plans to low income families
• Verizon COVID-19 response: no special offers, but following the FCC agreement.
• Sprint COVID-19 response: follows FCC agreement, provides unlimited data to existing customers, and, starting Tuesday, 3/17/2020, will allow all handsets to enable hot-spots for 60 days at no extra charge.

After the 60 days, the family can cancel (they can also cancel at any time) or will be charged the introductory rate fee.
FWISD adds approved applications and educational resources for staff and students to the ClassLink portal at fwisd.org/myfwisd.
To ensure you have the most current version of your apps, please click on your profile icon in the top right hand corner of the portal and choose "Sign Out". When you sign in again, you will see all of the apps available to you.
Following the malware attack, the Technology teams from Fort Worth ISD began rebuilding systems and restoring access to students and staff. The students and classroom teachers in FWISD are the top priority of the district, so their access has been prioritized.
At this time, many tools are rostered for classroom teachers and students only. The rostered tools are all available in the portal for classroom teachers and students. These include, but are not limited to, digital textbooks, Achieve 3000, and itslearning.
Non-teachers of record, such as district-level personnel, campus administrators, and instructional staff who are not teachers of record, will regain their access following the restoration of urgent systems and access.
If you are a classroom teacher and do not have access to a digital tool or textbook, please contact the Educational Technology Department.
Users can go to https://fwisd.parentlink.net/. If the user remembers their password, they can type their username@fwisd.org and click on Sign In.
If the user does not remember their password, they need to click on Forgot password?
Blackboard will send a temporary password to the username@fwisd.org email.
The user will receive a temporary password that will need to be changed on first login.
Students access Google Classroom by visiting fwisd.org/myfwisd. Once reaching their FWISD apps, students are automatically logged into their FWISD Google account. They will access Google Classroom by clicking the Google Classroom icon.
***Students are not automatically added to a teacher's Google Classroom via Focus. Teachers must manually add students or share their class code with them.***

Before a student or staff member can access them, materials that are an app in the myFWISD portal at ClassLink must be "reactivated" by each user by clicking on the tile in ClassLink first.
In the example above, a student would need to visit the portal, click on Discovery Education to re-establish their connection, and then return to Google Classroom.
This action only needs to be taken once for each resource.
