Fast VPN · Last updated: August 13, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Fast VPN ("Fast VPN", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Fast VPN mobile application (the "App") and related services (together, the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to being transparent about our data practices.
By downloading or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you have any questions, contact us at dev@velocifyx.com.
2. Our No-Logging Commitment
Fast VPN is built around a simple principle: what you do online is your business, not ours. While you are connected to the VPN, we do not collect, log, or store:
Your browsing history;
The content of any data transmitted through the VPN tunnel;
Your DNS queries;
The websites you visit or the apps you use while connected;
Your original IP address in association with any online activity.
Traffic passing through our servers is processed in real time solely to deliver the Service and is not recorded.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
Fast VPN does not require you to create an account or provide personal details such as your name to use the Service. If you contact us (for example, by email for support or feedback), we will receive your email address and the contents of your message, which we use only to respond to and resolve your request.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we and our service providers collect a limited amount of technical information:
Device information: device model and manufacturer, operating system version, system language, time zone, country/region, and network type (Wi-Fi or mobile).
App diagnostics and usage data: app version, crash reports, performance data, and in-app interaction events (such as taps on the connect button). This helps us fix bugs and improve stability.
Connection diagnostics: whether a connection attempt succeeded or failed, the server location selected, and aggregated bandwidth statistics used for capacity planning and network maintenance. These diagnostics are not linked to your online activity.
Advertising identifier: the resettable advertising ID provided by your device (Google Advertising ID), which is used by our advertising and attribution partners as described below.
IP address: your IP address is processed when the App communicates with our systems (for example, to establish a VPN connection or to load ads). We use it to derive your approximate location (country or city level) for server selection, ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention. We do not store your IP address together with any record of your online activity.
4. App Permissions
To function, Fast VPN requests a limited set of Android permissions:
VPN configuration (VpnService): required to establish the encrypted tunnel. Android will show you a system dialog asking for your explicit consent before the first connection. While the VPN is active, network traffic from your device is routed through our servers.
Network permissions (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): required to connect to our servers and detect network changes.
Notifications / foreground service: required to display the persistent connection-status notification that Android mandates while a VPN is running.
The App does not request access to your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the VPN service, including selecting suitable servers;
Diagnose problems, fix crashes, and improve performance and stability;
Display advertising that funds the free version of the Service;
Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing campaigns;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your data to build a profile of your browsing activity, and we do not inspect the content of your VPN traffic for any commercial purpose.
6. Advertising
The free version of Fast VPN is supported by advertising. Ads in the App are served by Google AdMob. AdMob and its certified ad partners may collect and use your device's advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, and device information to serve and measure ads, which may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region and choices.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message when you first use the App, and you can choose whether to allow personalized ads.
You can opt out of ads personalization or reset/delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
For details on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Analytics and Attribution
We use trusted third-party tools to understand how the App is used and how users discover it:
Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting) – Privacy Policy;
AppsFlyer (install attribution and marketing measurement) – Privacy Policy.
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations and their own published privacy policies.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers: with vendors that help us operate the Service, such as server and hosting providers, advertising networks, and analytics providers, in each case only as necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards;
Legal requirements: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request. Because we do not log your online activity, we have no browsing records to disclose;
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your information;
With your consent: in any other case, only with your permission.
Please note that under some U.S. state privacy laws, sharing advertising identifiers with ad partners for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information. You can opt out as described in Section 12.
9. Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Diagnostic, analytics, and advertising data is retained for limited periods defined by us and our providers, after which it is deleted or aggregated so that it can no longer be linked to a device. We do not retain any record of your browsing activity, because we never collect it.
10. Security
The VPN tunnel between your device and our servers is protected with industry-standard encryption protocols. We also apply technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we do collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
Our VPN servers and service providers are located in multiple countries. As a result, the limited information described in this Policy may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live, which may have different data-protection rules. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
The right to access the personal information we hold about you;
The right to correct inaccurate information;
The right to request deletion of your information;
The right to restrict or object to certain processing;
The right to data portability;
The right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
The right to opt out of targeted advertising ("sharing"/"sale" under certain U.S. state laws);
The right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at dev@velocifyx.com. You can also limit ad tracking directly on your device by resetting or deleting your advertising ID and turning off ads personalization in your device settings. Uninstalling the App stops all data collection by the App.
13. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at dev@velocifyx.com and we will delete it promptly.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain advertisements or links that lead to third-party websites, apps, or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you visit.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as an in-app message. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
