KISTI's Supercomputing Infrastructure and ExaTQ
Sangjae Seo (KISTI)
Since 1988, KISTI has been at the forefront of advancing supercomputing in Korea, beginning with the operation of the country’s first supercomputer. Over the years, KISTI has established and operated several national flagship supercomputers, providing critical services and infrastructure to researchers. A significant portion of supercomputing resources supports electronic structure calculations and molecular simulations, both vital for material science research. This presentation will provide an overview of KISTI’s ongoing efforts in supercomputing research, with a focus on fostering advancements in material science. Special attention will be given to the development of ExaTQ, a matrix computation and tensor acceleration library, designed to optimize computational efficiency and support researchers in this domain.
