As biometrics is becoming prevalent in our everyday life, new challenges emerge in this field - from protecting the privacy of the biometric data to handling biases due to improper training up until the matter of regulating biometric systems.

In this workshop we will explore what are the future challenges that biometric systems, and therefore, research, should address in the future. How does AI and ML change the field, how the deployment of biometric systems by governments impact society, as well as how the biometric world will handle the ever improving deep fakes.
