Future (stylized on digital releases in all caps) is the fifth studio album by American rapper Future. It was released on February 17, 2017, by A1 Recordings, Freebandz and Epic Records.[1][2] The album features production by Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, DJ Khaled, The Beat Bully, Southside, alongside production from other members of 808 Mafia such as DY, Fuse, Tarentino and Tre Pounds. The album was supported by three singles: "Draco", "Mask Off" and "Extra Luv".

"Extra Luv" was released as the third single on June 30, 2017 after being included as a streaming bonus track on the deluxe edition of the album. The single features a guest appearance from rapper YG.

Writing for The Observer, Alex Macpherson concluded, "...[and] as a body of work, this album is neither an elevation over nor an advancement of his stream of recent material. At this point, merely shoring up his personal brand with scattered highlights means that Future is stuck in a holding pattern."[13] Chase McMullen, an author for The 405, said, "In a genre that's hard on longevity, and an era with an even shorter attention span, Future has refused to lose, time and again. He certainly doesn't end here. Yet, after a year of baited breathing, we seem to have arrived at an in-between. Future debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 140,000 album-equivalent units, of which 60,000 were pure album sales.[22] It became Future's fourth number-one album following DS2, What a Time to Be Alive with Drake, and Evol.[22] As of September 27, 2017, the album has moved 902,000 album-equivalent units.[23] On July 14, 2017, the album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for combined sales album-equivalent units of over a million units in the United States.

The discography of American rapper Future consists of nine studio albums, one collaborative album, 24 mixtapes, two extended plays, and 117 singles (including 61 as a featured artist). He first began his career as part of the Georgia-based collective Dungeon Family, although he released no major projects with the group. In the late 2000s, he became acquainted with fellow Georgia-based rapper Rocko and soon signed to his label, A1 Recordings. He then released a number of independent mixtapes and guest appeared on YC's 2011 hit single "Racks," while earning local recognition as his music was frequented at Atlanta's Magic City nightclub venue. He signed to Epic Records to issue his then-most popular song as a lead artist, "Tony Montana" as his debut single for the label in 2011. On January 18, 2019, Future released his seventh studio album, The Wizrd. The album debuted and peaked atop the Billboard 200. On June 7, 2019, Future released his debut extended play, Save Me. The EP debuted and peaked at number five on the Billboard 200.

On May 15, 2020, Future released his eighth studio album, High Off Life. The album debuted and peaked atop the Billboard 200. It produced the top-10 single, "Life Is Good", which features Drake and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It also produced the top-40 single, "Trillionaire", which features YoungBoy Never Broke Again and debuted and peaked at number 34 on the Hot 100. On November 13, 2020, Future released a collaborative album with Lil Uzi Vert, Pluto x Baby Pluto. The album debuted and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. In 2021, Future was featured alongside Young Thug on Drake's single, "Way 2 Sexy", which became his first number-one single. That same year, he released a collaboration with Gunna, "Too Easy", which reached number 16 on the Hot 100.

On April 29, 2022, Future released his ninth studio album, I Never Liked You. The album debuted and peaked atop the Billboard 200. It produced his second number-one single, "Wait for U", which features Drake and Tems, and also became his second song to debut at the top of the Hot 100 and his second collaboration with Drake to reach the top, following "Way 2 Sexy" in 2021. The number-one debuts of both the album and "Wait for U" made Future the seventh artist to simultaneously debut a song and album at the top of their respective charts. The album also produced the top-20 singles, "Love You Better" (charted at number 12), "Keep It Burnin", which features Kanye West (charted at number 15), and the top-40 single, "Worst Day" (charted at number 34).

so i've listened to future casually for a long time now, you know, like features and a bunch of songs that i just know like codeine crazy, hate the real me etc. but i've never taken the time to listen to any of his albums in full and really get into him. so what would you recommend as the best future album to start off with to really get into him? so far, i really like his more emotional cuts like hate the real me. also, is there a flowchart that exists? thank you in advance !

So there are a couple of questionable songs along with some real classics. I really feel like without the orchestrated sections linking the songs, it would be a lot harder to see this as a consistently great album. The interludes helps hide the fact that there is some filler.

The distribution of plants and the composition of forest ecosystems are strongly influenced by climatic conditions, which are key factors shaping the ranges of individual species. Future climate change poses a threat to many taxa, while for others it may represent an opportunity to expand their range1,2. Thus, rapid environmental changes in the near future could have a significant impact on the structure of the forests of Europe, assessing probable range shifts crucial to planning future forest management3,4. Currently, a frequently used method to determine changes in the potential ranges of various species is Species Distribution Modelling (SDM), which has become an important analytical tool in conservation biology, land management and spatial ecology5,6. One of the widely used algorithm is the maximum entropy algorithm, implemented in MAXENT. This software uses current locations of populations and a set of selected environmental variables7,8,9, allowing estimation of future distribution of rare10 or widespread taxa, such as tree species that form the core of European forests3,4. The MAXENT results also provide a better understanding of which factors most influence the occurrence of analysed species.

An example of a species that has a great influence on forest communities is Viscum album L. (mistletoe). It is a hemi-parasite, which has a significant impact on single trees, and, by extension, on forest ecosystems. Mistletoe may adversely affect the host tree, causing weakness, a decline in growth rate and even tree dieback11,12,13. The effect on trees in dry periods is particularly negative, because the mistletoe, unlike the host, does not close the stomata, increasing the water deficit of the host plant14,15,16,17. In recent years, V. album has become a more significant threat, especially to coniferous forests in Europe due to its significant and rapid expansion18,19,20,21. The greater presence of birds attracted by Viscum fruit, the increased amount of light reaching the forest floor due to host dieback, and the fall of Viscum leaves rich in minerals, cause the transformation of forest communities22,23,24. It is also a culturally significant plant that has been collected for Christmas decorations and medicinal use for centuries25. V. album has several pharmacological properties; the most important active substances are the viscotoxins and mistletoe lectins26,27.

Viscum album is classified into five subspecies, from which four occur in Europe and one, Viscum album subsp. meridianum (Danser) D.G.Long, is native to E Himalaya to China and N Indo-China25,33,34. In Europe, the following subspecies are recognised: Viscum album L. subsp. album, V. album subsp. austriacum (Wiesb.) Vollm., V. album subsp. abietis (Wiesb.) Abrom., and endemic for Isle of Crete V. album subsp. creticum N. Bhling, Greuter, Raus, B.Snogerup, Snogerup & Zuber25. These taxa are very similar morphologically, but differ concerning the host and are distinguishable by molecular methods35. Viscum album subsp. album has the widest distribution and has been recorded on 384 deciduous tree species32. The other subspecies all occur on coniferous trees, i.e. V. album subsp. austriacum mainly on Pinus sylvestris L., V. album subsp. abietis mainly on Abies alba L. and V. album subsp. creticum on Pinus brutia Ten.25,33. There are also biochemical differences between the host races36. The subspecies are unlikely to cross with each other, and a hybrid has been described only between V. album subsp. abietis and V. album subsp. album25,35.
