Furqan Jameel is an innovator and technologist, with a passion for emerging radio access technologies. He is keen on identifying novel R&D opportunities that may emerge from technology development. He has been an internee at various telcos such as Nokia, PTCL, and Huawei. Previously, he was been involved in various EU/UK projects, delivering high-quality research on different aspects of wireless communications. For the last 3 years, he's been leading motivated R&D professionals in Nokia.

Furqan Jameel has authored 70+ international publications, book chapters, and technical reports, in collaboration with 25+ researchers from 10+ countries / 3 continents across the globe. In September 2018, he visited SIMULA Research Laboratory and the University of Oslo, Norway. From 2018 to 2019, he was with the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and Nokia Bell Labs, Espoo, where he worked as a researcher and a summer trainee, respectively. He is also the recipient of outstanding reviewer award 2017 from Elsevier. Currently, he is working as 5G Area Product Owner in Nokia, Finland where his focus is Cloud RAN solution and Nokia's Airscale Baseband product portfolio.

7. Our paper on Propagation Channels for mmWave Vehicular Communications has been accepted in the IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine (IF: 9.202).
