NAZAR MUHAMMAD

Nazar Muhammad is the founder/father of Fuqra Ittehad Welfare Association (FIWA) and served as the President since 2022. He is a philanthropist and has been associated with these services since 1975. He is a renowned pediatrician in Pakistan.

OUR SERVICES

Health

Providing Quality Health Services to marginalized Communities

FIWA an integrated health service department offering community, individual, nutrition and telemedicine healthcare facilities. The main idea is to ensure that quality healthcare services are provided to the masses. FIWA is improving health indicators through intervening in health facilities and community health worker intervention.

Community Health Services

FIWA has the honor to introduce a cadre of community-based outreach health workers in areas where there is no Lady Health Worker (LHW) by a pilot project held in a remote district of Sindh.
These health workers are local literate/low literate/illiterate women selected as per defined selection criteria, to provide basic health services in their defined target area. The selected female is trained to serve her community as community based Marvi/Misali worker to provide services in under-served non-LHW areas.

The services are provided to the designated population by following the established activities and project indicators, which are part of the Marvi worker’s job description. For the technical/skill-based services, each Marvi is given supportive supervision by a Lady Health Visitor (LHV). The Marvi worker organizes the neighborhood and informs/educates the target group using conventional information packages for behavior modification. Various tactics are also employed to modify behavior. In Pakistan, FIWA is the leading NGO offering free family planning and healthcare services. FIWA also offers high quality affordable telemedicine services and top-notch and affordable online medical services.

Fiwa is providing ambulance services to sick and needy peoples all over sindh.

Health Facilities

FIWA provides services through health facilities to augment free-of-cost subsidized treatment to underprivileged communities. In the past year, through our various initiatives, we were able to provide medical services to many people through outpatient services, normal deliveries, indoor services, major and minor surgeries, and lab services.

Telehealth-Asaan Sehat

FIWA has initiated “Aaan Sehat”, an innovative Telemedicine healthcare service since 2020 in the wake of the pandemic. It is an intervention to provide access to quality healthcare to all at their doorstep through information, communication, and technology. The Asaan Sehat program provides affordable and convenient healthcare access from qualified doctors in Pakistan.

The program is expected to help peoples and address major health issues where users can connect with doctors through an application for audio and video consultations. HANDS ensures that the best general physicians are available on the go while patient confidentiality is maintained. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for lady doctors to practice from home.

Education & Literacy

Nurturing future leaders for human and institutional development

Early Childhood Development

FIWA program targets children from 3-10 years of age from impoverished backgrounds. The aim is to support children’s overall personality development sustainably in a safe learning environment. To ensure the provision of quality education, teachers are trained. The initiative helps reduce dropout rates and increase retention rates. FIWA provides cloths, books, school uniforms, stationary include pencils, shopners, school bags to deserving children and students.

Adult Literacy

Through this model, FIWA Education and Literacy Program, strives to provide opportunities for illiterate adults. Adult Literacy Centers cater to adults, which is why academic learning and skill development are focused on simultaneously helping illiterate adults. It becomes a productive part of the society. Fiwa provides cloths, books, stationary include pencils, shopners, school bags to deserving womens and students.

Child Safe Spaces

Child psychosocial well-being refers to the emotional, social, and psychological development of a child. It encompasses their ability to form relationships, express their feelings and navigate the world around them. A child’s psychosocial well-being is shaped by a variety of factors including genetics, environment, experiences and relationships with others. A positive and supportive environment, nurturing relationships with caregivers and opportunities for socialization and learning all contribute to a child’s psychosocial well-being. Conversely, adverse experiences such as neglect, abuse or trauma can negatively impact a child’s psychosocial development and lead to long-term consequences. It is important for caregivers, educators and mental health professionals to prioritize a child’s psychosocial well-being in order to promote their healthy development and overall well-being

Food

Fiwa is providing food to needy person families . Fiwa is providing food dinner lunch at different points to needy person. we have provided to many person food. We are providing ration to many families since 2017.

Dowry

Fiwa has provided dowry and food to many poor women at there marriage.
