# FunzyCam Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FunzyCam handles information when you use our Android camera application, including face filters, Beauty controls, photo and video capture, advertising, and optional Premium purchases.
App: FunzyCam
Android package: app.binarykeys.camfilters
Privacy contact: appsbytedev@gmail.com

## 1. Camera, microphone, and face processing
FunzyCam accesses your camera with your permission to display the live preview, apply effects, and capture photos or videos. Microphone permission is optional and is used to record sound when you enable audio for video recording. The app does not record microphone audio for face tracking.
Google MediaPipe Face Landmarker analyzes camera frames on your device to estimate facial landmarks, expressions, and head position for filters and Beauty effects. This face geometry is processed temporarily in memory. FunzyCam does not create or retain a face-recognition profile, identify people, or store a separate database of facial landmarks.
Camera frames, face geometry, and audio are not uploaded by FunzyCam to our servers, advertising services, or a cloud face-processing service. Face processing does not require an internet connection. Photos and videos you capture can contain recognizable faces and other personal information; you control whether to save or share them.
## 2. Captures, gallery access, and permissions
Before you save a capture, FunzyCam stores it temporarily in its private cache. When you choose Save, the app writes the photo or video to your device's Pictures/FunzyCam or Movies/FunzyCam folder and stores a local reference so it can appear in the app gallery.
Saved photos may include capture time, app version, and the selected effect in their metadata. FunzyCam does not request location permission or add GPS coordinates. The app gallery uses references to captures created by this installation; FunzyCam does not request broad access to your photo library on Android 10 or later. On Android 8 and 9, storage permission is requested when needed to save captures.
You can revoke camera, microphone, and applicable storage permissions in Android Settings. The features requiring a revoked permission will be unavailable. FunzyCam does not request access to your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, or precise device location.
## 3. Sharing and external services
Sharing a capture opens Android's native share sheet and gives the app you select access to that capture. Share with Friends shares the FunzyCam Google Play link, rather than automatically attaching your photos or videos. FunzyCam does not automatically post your media or upload it to a FunzyCam account.
The receiving app or service handles shared information under its own privacy policy. External privacy links and advertising links also open services with their own data practices. A device gallery or cloud-backup app may separately back up saved media according to your settings; FunzyCam does not operate that backup service.
## 4. Advertising and privacy choices
FunzyCam displays ads using Google Mobile Ads and manages applicable consent choices using Google's User Messaging Platform. Google's SDK collects and shares IP address, device/account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and performance diagnostics for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. An IP address can indicate approximate location. Identifiers can include Android advertising ID, app set ID, and applicable signed-in account identifiers. Collection depends on Google services, settings, and privacy choices.
Where offered, use Settings → Privacy choices to review or change advertising choices. Android Settings also provides advertising-ID controls. Required consent messages depend on your region and Google's configuration. Declining consent does not disable the camera; ads may be limited or unavailable. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing.
Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. FunzyCam does not provide your camera frames, captured audio, photos, videos, or facial landmarks to the advertising SDK. Premium purchases unlock filters and do not remove ads.

## 5. MediaPipe diagnostics
The bundled MediaPipe SDK includes a Google usage and performance logging component. When connectivity is available, it can transmit technical metrics such as app identifier and version, platform information, SDK usage, invocation counts, and processing performance. Google uses these metrics to operate, maintain, improve, and protect its APIs.
This diagnostics transport is separate from the on-device processing of your camera frames. FunzyCam does not supply camera images, audio, videos, or facial landmarks to that transport. Advertising privacy choices do not switch off MediaPipe diagnostics. The app does not currently provide a separate MediaPipe telemetry toggle.

## 6. Premium purchases and app updates
Optional one-time Premium purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. No FunzyCam account or signup is required. Google Play handles your payment method and transaction processing; FunzyCam does not receive your payment-card number or bank credentials.
FunzyCam receives purchase information from Google Play, including the product identifier, purchase token, receipt/signature information, and purchase and acknowledgement status. This information is used to verify, acknowledge, provide, and restore Premium access. A device-bound encrypted purchase record supports access when offline. The app excludes its private purchase record from Android backup and does not send it to a FunzyCam purchase server. Restoring purchases requires access to the purchasing Google Play account and an internet connection.
Google Play also handles in-app update availability, downloads, and installation. Billing and update checks do not include your camera frames or facial landmarks. Google's purchase records and retention are managed by Google; deleting FunzyCam's local data does not delete a Play transaction or issue a refund.
## 7. Local settings and support messages
FunzyCam stores preferences on your device, including capture quality, audio choices, filters, Beauty adjustments, media references, and app-opening or prompt state. Consent-related settings are also stored locally. An age range selected in an earlier app version may remain on the device to preserve restricted advertising treatment; the current app does not ask for your birthday or an age range.
If you email appsbytedev@gmail.com, we receive your email address, the message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your inquiry, resolve support issues, and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending sensitive media or payment credentials. Support email is handled through Gmail under Google's service and privacy practices.
## 8. Retention and deletion
- Face landmarks and tracking state are temporary processing data and are not retained as a separate persistent face record.
- Temporary captures may be deleted when discarded or when leaving an unsaved review. The app also attempts to remove cached captures older than 24 hours when the camera starts. Android may clear cache earlier; cleanup is not a guarantee of deletion at an exact time.
- Saved photos and videos remain in your device's media storage until you delete them. You can delete accessible captures through FunzyCam's gallery or your device's gallery. Copies shared with other apps or backed up by another service must be deleted there separately.
- Local preferences, media references, and the protected purchase record remain until replaced, cleared, or removed with app data. A completed Google Play ownership check can also remove a purchase record when access is no longer valid.
- To remove app-private information, use Android Settings → Apps → FunzyCam → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Saved gallery media can remain and must be deleted separately. Restore Premium through Google Play after reinstalling if needed.
- Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the inquiry, handle related follow-up, or meet legal obligations, and is deleted when no longer needed. You can request deletion by email.
- Google and other services manage their own data retention. Google's retention information is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention.
## 9. Security and international processing
FunzyCam uses Android's app sandbox and permission controls. Its local purchase record is encrypted using AES-GCM with a device-bound Android Keystore key. Shared media access is granted through Android content permissions. These protections do not encrypt exported gallery media on FunzyCam's behalf, and no storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
Google services and support email providers may process information outside your country under their privacy policies and applicable transfer protections. FunzyCam does not operate a server that stores your camera media or facial geometry.

## 10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain targeted advertising or legally defined sale or sharing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Use the device and app controls described above for locally stored information and advertising choices. For requests concerning information we handle, email appsbytedev@gmail.com with the subject “FunzyCam Privacy Request.” Explain your request without sending passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents. We may request proportionate information to verify a request and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
We cannot remotely access or erase media stored only on your device, retrieve information we do not hold, or erase records controlled independently by Google or a sharing service. We will explain these limits where relevant. Requests about Google-held information can also be made using https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.
Where applicable, processing is based on providing features you request, consent for permissions or advertising where required, legitimate interests in support, security, and service reliability where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations. This policy does not itself grant permission for unrelated data use.
## 11. Adults-only audience
FunzyCam is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. It does not verify a user's age, and its intended audience does not mean that an unknown user has been verified as an adult. Restricted advertising treatment associated with age information retained from earlier versions is preserved.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support or another direct interaction, contact appsbytedev@gmail.com so we can investigate and address it.
## 12. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when FunzyCam's features, service providers, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The current policy will be available at the URL above with its effective date. Where a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it before that change applies.
